Firehouse POS Terminal

Connections

1. Power - 4-pin molex to internal power supply brick; standard thick 3-prong to outlet
2. Network - similar to a large phone cable
3. Cash Drawer - RJ12 (similar to phone cable) -  connects to "cash" port.
4. Receipt Printer (serial to modular COM 3 port)
5. ATC (serial to modular COM 4) on terminal 2
6. 7" C700 interactive customer display

Credit Card Terminal
(KFC Only)

The separate credit card terminal is customer accessible to avoid employees touching customer cards.

There are 2 connections:

1. Power
2. Ethernet
   * Although connection is via Ethernet, each terminal is assigned to it's own POS terminal. If they are moved between terminals, they must have their IDs changed. Terminal should prompt for ID on boot.

If the POS terminal is rebooted, the CC terminal may lose connectivity. Proper procedure is to reboot POS terminal and then reboot CC Terminal

Receipt Printer

There are typically only 2 connections:

1. Power
   DIN to power supply; thick, standard 3-prong to power outlet.
2. Data Connection
   Serial or USB to POS terminal (direct connection)

Receipt Printer Power Adapter

Cash Drawer

Connection is via RJ12 (similar to phone cable) connection from drawer direct to POS Terminal.

Biometrics

Allows logon and security access using assigned fingerprints. POS allows for 5 fingerprint assignments per employee

Connection is direct via USB

Cleaning

DO NOT USE CLEANSER ON SCANNER!
To clean scanner, use scotch tape. Push flat and pull off to clean. The protective film on the lens will be damaged with harsh cleansers.
