DT Timer

Configurations vary; Usually 3 - 4 cables:

1. Power - approx. 1/4" diameter. Connects to a "wall wart" power adapter at the power outlet
2. Loop - small, 2-conductor cable that connects to the outside magnetic loop/car sensor. (Could be 1, 2, or 3 - for each window and menu board)
3. OTB - Order time board. LED timer used to inform employees or customers DT time. (Typically only 1 on the inside, but there may be one for the customers outside, or none at all)
4. PC Connection - thick, about 1/2" diameter serial cable connected at the bottom of the timer. Usually gray or black and connects to the POS Back Office PC.

Troubleshooting:

First, ensure the green LCD display shows car counts and times.

If the times are incorrect, there are up/dn arrows on the LCD screen. They appear up when a car is at the loop and down when no car is at the loop.

If POS reports show incorrect times, ensure PC connection cable at the bottom is connected both AT THE TIMER and AT THE PC.

(Located on the bottom, center of the timer. This connects to the POS PC in the office)

All other connectors are hard-wired

Delphi Fast Track 2+2 DT Timer

Cable connections are similar to the HME with 2 exceptions:

1. All cables are connected inside; there are no external connections.
2. The POS PC connection is through the network switch and not directly to the PC

LED status lights are as follows:
L1 - menu board
L2 - mic
L3 - not used
L4 - Window

The Fast Track has no onboard reporting output. An option for the Zoom display (PC and monitor with graphical display) is available for approx. $1,000.

Troubleshooting options are to have the KFC Helpdesk connect and pull times or download the Delphi software, install on a laptop and connect to the Merit network for connectivity.
