POS - Kitchen Video System (KVS)

Video Controller

Brand: QSR
Model: EPic

Receives order information from POS and displays them on the kitchen pack monitors (cook display).

Connections

  1. Power - DIN to external power supply; standard thick 3-prong to outlet
  2. Network - (Ethernet) similar to a large phone cable
  3. Video - Standard 15-pin VGA (blue connector)
  4. Bump Bar - Standard male-to-male PS/2 Cable

Power button is located on the front of the QSR - to the left of the lights. Always try restarting the device if you have issues. (You will lose any current orders when you restart.)

If the cook display shows a blue/gray status screen, look primarily for the Port #. It should be 8300. If it's anything different, call the HelpDesk.

If the cook display information does not look correct, press the REDRAW button on the bump bar.

Standard thick black cable; same as PC and other computer equipment
  2. Video input
Most models use the blue analog VGA connector.
